The painting probably dates back to the years in which the famous painter moved to Tivoli, after a brief Roman passage, then around the 1690s: here you can see the Temple of Vesta together with other stylistic features typical of his production of those years such as the goat with curved horns and the intense yellow-brown lighting effects.
The work is relined and in excellent condition.
