Giuseppe Centi, linked to the metaphysical current, was one of the main spokespersons of the "Aquilani Artists Group", founded in 1944. In February 1946 he exhibited alongside Campigli, Carrà, Casorati, De Pisis, Guttuso, Marini, Manini, Morandi and Vedova (between the major ones) at the "Exhibition of contemporary Italian design". The canvas of the recto is signed and dated, that of the reverse is without the glass, framed
