The painting, in its original canvas, shows on the back in the oval stamp of the famous Parisian canvas and color manufacturer:

The work can therefore be dated between the 1980s and '90 of the 19th century. The signature, present in the lower left corner, is unfortunately illegible, except for the last two final letters "ey": the pictorial ductus could suggest some interesting suggestions, including the hand of Paul Mathey (1844- 1929). Framed.
