The auction presents a prestigious selection of carpets from a collection carefully curated and studied by expert Marco Visconti.
The collection includes pieces of great historical and artistic interest, ranging from the Caucasus to Persia, and from China to Europe, dating from the 19th to the 20th century. Among the lots are rare Caucasian Kazak carpets, refined Persian examples from renowned workshops such as Kirman, Kashan, Ferahan, and Qum silk, as well as rare French Aubusson and Chinese Nichols Deco’ rugs.
