Ben Battersby is a British photographer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After a thirty-year career as a cinematographer, a sudden diagnosis prompted him to turn to photography as a tool for reflection and rebirth. His work has garnered international recognition, including awards at the PX3 (Gold, Second Place, Honorable Mention), 1839 Awards (Bronze in Storytelling, Portrait Nomination, People's Choice), and IPA (Honorable Mention). The Space Before Us series was born from this transformative moment, exploring fragility, memory, and the regenerative power of love through an intimate and cinematic visual language.
